How much does appliance disposal cost in Altrincham?

Can I put an old appliance out with my normal rubbish?
No. Large appliances are waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and must be collected separately so they can be treated and recycled. Leaving one on the pavement for someone to take is likely to count as fly-tipping, which can lead to a fixed penalty or prosecution. The legal options are a retailer take-back, a council bulky waste collection, a household waste recycling centre, or a registered waste carrier.
